My Role
in Bocato
My role in the project began when I entered as a graphic designer at an advertising agency. One of my bosses mentioned the project, expressing how they would like my help to better develop it as its launch date drew closer. Now, Bocato di Cardinale is a project in which I work with on a daily basis, along my other responsibilities in the agency.
First Task
Upon my first look at the brand, I recommended the creation of a secondary logo, in order to be used when the primary logo were too detailed for certain sizes. I was then tasked to create the secondary logo, thus I used the B and combined it with the frame found around the primary logo.
Second Task
My second order of business in the project was packaging. My boss had seen my previous packaging work and was excited to have me design the packaging for Bocato di Cardinale.
For the design, we discussed a composition of ingredients that would reflect the type of food offered by Bocato di Cardinale. I created 2 compositions, one of sweet fruits and another of savory ingredients like ham, crackers, cheese and ham.
