My name is Cristina Chapman, I'm a 24-year old graphic designer from Cartagena, Colombia and I've just completed my B.F.A. at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD.) I've always had a passion for art and creative approaches in my life, and I came to the United States when I was 19 to pursue a professional career in design.

My journey as a graphic designer has come a long way. I have found new inspirations throughout my journey at Savannah, GA as well as from my beautiful hometown. My peers and professors have also made a huge impact on my progress and improvement throughout my time at SCAD, learning from the very best professors, who have also given me every opportunity to reach for the stars. I’ve also had the opportunity to learn about collaboration and gained inspiration from my peers as we bounce ideas from one another.

I've had the great pleasure this last few years to connect with different types of communities while working in the SCAD Summer Program, SCAD Student Ambassador program, SCADpro projects and various other collaborative jobs and experiences. These have challenged different skills like public speaking, problem solving and critical thinking. I've also had the pleasure to interact with people from all types of different backgrounds, from people from other countries, creative professionals in my field, as well as younger creatives, stepping into the path that I started almost 5 years ago.

Currently I'm open for any kind of opportunity that arises, as my goal is to learn as much as I possibly can in any field. I'm excited for the future and the experiences I'll have the pleasure of being a part of.
